CTC Wings will be hosting an Open Day at our Crew Training Centre- Nursling on Saturday 19th June 2010.
The Open Day will provide an opportunity for anyone considering a career as an airline pilot to visit our Full Flight Simulator Centre and gain an insight into what is involved.
We will be running a series of workshops and presentations during the day as well as tours around our Boeing and Airbus simulators, Virtual Flight Decks (VFD - Airbus) and Computer Based Training rooms. Representatives from the BBVA bank will be on hand to answer your finance queries and Pooleys pilot shop will be open on site.
The training centre will be open for visitors from 1000 - 1600 hrs.
You are welcome to spend the entire day with us to tour our facilities and try your hand at some of the
training devices. There will be a 'Careers Advice Centre' for you and
your family to visit and have your questions answered and we will also be running two formal sessions during the day as follows -
1000 - open to visitors
MORNING SESSION:
1030 - Presentation from Lee Woodward - Head of CTC Wings and Executive Director CTC Aviation "Industry Update and CTC Wings"
1115 - Selection Workshop
1200 - Training Seminar
AFTERNOON SESSION: (Repeat of morning session)
1300 - Presentation from Lee Woodward - Head of CTC Wings and Executive Director CTC Aviation "Industry Update and CTC Wings"
1415 - Selection Workshop
1500 - Training Seminar
1630 - Close
How to book-
Please bear in mind that we are expecting interest to be high for this event. We therefore ask you to let us know that you are coming along so that we can ensure that enough members of our team are on hand to give you the best opportunity to see as much as possible. If you are interested in attending the workshops and presentations, please let us know via the booking form whether you will be attending the morning or afternoon workshops.
NB - Unfortunately, for health and safety reasons, we cannot allow anyone under 16 to attend the Open Day.
