Crew Training Centres

While you're with CTC Wings, you'll be training on the very best equipment, working in purpose-built facilities and living in comfortable accommodation. Each location is tailored to the different stages of your training.

Hamilton, New Zealand
Based at Hamilton Airport on New Zealand's North Island and adjacent to the main runway; the 19,000sq ft Crew Training Centre offers several flight simulators, briefing rooms, lecture rooms, planning and operation facilities. You'll be flying DA20 Katanas, Alpha 160A's or Cessna 172s during the single-engine phase and the twin engine Diamond DA42 Twin Stars when you progress onto ME flying.

Clearways, New Zealand
While you're training at Hamilton, you will have an en suite room at our Clearways cadet accommodation complex. Each of the four accommodation buildings contains 24 studio rooms, a central kitchen, lounge, laundry and storage area. As you would expect, there is also a gym on site as well as other sporting and leisure facilities. Clearways is just a few kilometres from the Crew Training Centre - Hamilton and we have a fleet of CTC Wings minibuses for each course to make use of during your training.

Bournemouth, UK
The final eight-week phase of your CPL/IR training is completed at our Crew Training Centre at Bournemouth International Airport. Here you'll be training on a DA42 Twin Star simulator and our fleet of DA42 twin-engine aircraft and yourCAA Instrument Rating Test (IRT) will be carried out here.
